Qualified applicants must have the following experience: 3+ years in programming; fluent in C/C++; development of Windows and/or Macintosh applications; willingness to work in a cross-platform development environment (Windows and Macintosh); music background with experience using or developing music software. The following experience is highly desirable: GUI development for commercial products; MIDI or Audio development; Strong mathematical background.
Customer Support Representative
MakeMusic, Inc. is seeking a full-time customer support representative. Qualified applicants must have strong experience with Finale music notation software, be highly proficient with computers and have excellent customer service skills. Experience with SmartMusic a plus.
Web Development Engineer
We are currently seeking a Web Developer for full cycle design and development of front-end and back-end development of our corporate web applications, including e-commerce activity.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field, and four years experience. Knowledge in ASP.Net, C#.Net, SQL Server, Web Services and LINQ. Familiarity with VB.Net, graphic design, Agile development practices and general music knowledge a plus.
Education Sales Territory Manager
Responsible for selling the MakeMusic suite of products within the music education market. This consultative sales role demands high integrity, professionalism, discipline and personal initiative in order to develop relationships and drive revenue. This position requires travel of 20-25%.
Qualified candidates must have proven successful sales experience preferably working within the education market segment. Additional required skills include negotiation, excellent communication (listening, writing and presentation), time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate has the proven sales skills, a passion for education, experience as a musician and/or music instructor, and is able to demonstrate the SmartMusic & Finale basics.
